Digital Product Manager Logistics (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

As part of agiler product teams you are you will be responsible for ensuring that our digital platform based on our strategic ambitions and the needs of our customers in order to create an inspiring customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • You take over the customer and business side ownership of our customer portal
  • You channel and prioritize internal and external requirements with corresponding business cases and support the product owner in the creation of the rolling development roadmap and/or the goals for the agile development cycles
  • Based on the strategy and concrete customer needs, you will develop well thought-out concepts for improvements, new features as well as new offers and business models on our digital customer portal in close collaboration with UX Design, Product Owners and internal stakeholders. You always represent the “Voice of Customer”.
  • You derive the technical requirements for the implementation in close cooperation with product owners and developers
  • You are the primary internal contact person for business-critical issues and search for fast and smart solutions together with the development department.
  • You regularly seek contact with our target group to ensure a high level of customer orientation and are responsible for appropriate formats such as focus groups, customer workshops, etc.
  • Before the releases, you coordinate the business tests with internal departments and customers and approve them
  • You represent your concerns, concepts, prioritizations and proposals in value stream oriented steering committees

Your profile:

  • Ideally, you have a degree in business administration with a focus on CX or further training as a CX manager. Certification as SAFe PM/PO is an advantage
  • You have experience as a digital product manager or product owner with a strong customer focus.
  • You bring relevant experience in the logistics or transport environment, ideally from a freight forwarding company, a platform or software provider
  • You are very customer focused and empathetic to assess and capture user needs
  • You are used to working in agile and interdisciplinary setups, know the appropriate tools and methods and enjoy creating and designing new solutions as part of a team
  • You bring a basic understanding of software development with you
  • You have a quick grasp and the ability to abstract and visualize complex relationships
  • For stakeholder management we expect communication and assertiveness skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, Eastern European languages an advantage
